Decoflora is focused on breeding Philodendron from seeds. Seeds are a different propagation method to cuttings or tissue culture in that every single seed is like a genetic lottery, they all have potential to be different from each other and could end up being a new phenotype of a species, a random mutation, a new hybrid or have some different attributes like resistance to pests and disease or grow more vigorously in different environmental conditions.
