Anthurium Obsidian is a new complex Anthurium hybrid named after rainbow obsidian because of it's extremely dark leaves that produce a beautiful glittery shimmer. The plant was made using a complex sub velvet hybrid (Likely involving subsignatum and some velvet species) as the seed parent with red beauty as the pollen parent. Anthurium Obsidian was selected out of a batch of 100+ variable seedlings as the one to grow the fastest and also the darkest with the most interesting shimmering leaf surface. We are very excited about this seedling and will update this page as the plant develops more.
